Enjoy dynamic competition in our co-ed, JHoops recreational league. Sign up your own team or join us as a “free agent”.

The J Los Angeles Adult Basketball League is a recreational league, open to players 18 and over. The league is co-ed (teams can be all male, all female, or mixed gender).

There are two ways to participate:

Build your own team: Sign up as a team with a minimum of 7 players. In order to keep the league competitive no more than 3 players per team can have college experience per team and athletes should have limited/no ability to play above the rim. The JHoops team fee is $800 per season, which includes all referee fees.

Join as a Free Agent: JLA will maintain a list of individuals interested in playing in the JHoops Adult League. If you are an individual basketball player interested in being on the free agent list, or if you are a team interested in acquiring free agents, please contact Ryan Bell, Sports and Recreation Coordinator, at rbell@thejla.org or by phone (323) 556-5203.

Schedule

Games are played on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m.

Your team will be provided with their season schedule in advance of each season.

JHoops Adult League participants, along with JLA members, are welcome to attend JHoops Open Gym.
