ages 0-3

Baby & Me at the J provides a space and opportunity to foster community and gathering for caretakers and children from birth to 3 years old. Help bring Judaism, gross motor skills development, imagination, literacy, and musicality into your child’s life at a young age.

Baby & Me is built on:

Inclusivity- A warm and welcoming group for all people, family structures, races, religions, socio-economic status, and ability levels.

Respect- Respecting each other and treating others kindly. People are encouraged to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.

Participation- Enthusiastically participating in programming in line with abilities. Parents and caregivers will do their best to be present and follow directions from the instructor.

Support- Kindness and support to all children and caregivers in the community in a space that allows for offering and asking for help when it is needed.

Unless noted otherwise, all classes cost $20/session, and are free for JLA members. To learn more about membership at the J, click here.

FAQs

Can I drop my child off, or do I stay with them?

A parent or caregiver must accompany the child during classes.

Can we just drop in for a class?

Registering ahead of time is a good idea to ensure you get a spot and that the class is prepared with enough supplies. Drop-ins are accommodated based on capacity. Staff in the front office can help you register on-site when you arrive.

What kind of behavior is expected in Baby & Me classes?

Children are expected to behave age appropriately, which includes crying, moving, playing, and eating snacks.

What if we miss a class?

Please contact the JLA front office at 323-938-2531 to reschedule your class.
