Early Childhood at the J

The J Los Angeles Early Childhood Center (ECC) has been an integral part of the community since 1954, offering year-round education and care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Guided by the ethos "We share the world with other people,” a culture of kindness is promoted across all class levels, while providing an educational experience that fosters self-expression, curiosity, and understanding of one another.

Preschool

The JLA ECC nurtures young minds with a Jewish values-inspired curriculum that promotes positive self-esteem, social skills, creativity, and independence among students. Experienced teachers guide young learners through open-ended play, art, music, movement, and more.

The Hive

Our Infant Care Center's 4:1 "bee" to teacher ratio ensures personalized attention for all enrolled children. Experienced caregivers, a dedicated crib room, and a practical facility design all work to create a safe, nurturing space for your child's growth.

Baby & Me

Baby & Me at the J provides a space and opportunity to foster community and gathering for caretakers and children from birth to 3 years old. Help bring Judaism, gross motor skills development, imagination, literacy, and musicality into your child’s life at a young age.
