A Year to Impact a Lifetime
32 Communities | 7 Countries | 1 Global Jewish Family
The Diller Teen Fellows program is a highly selective immersive leadership program inviting a select group of Jewish 10th and 11th graders from 6 continents and 32 communities to step up, lead their communities, and repair the world. The Los Angeles cohort is a program of J Los Angeles, operated with the generous support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Helen Diller Family Foundation.

Teens accepted to the fellowship commit to:
12 Sunday afternoon workshops
3 weekend retreats
10 days of hosting Israeli teens
An immersive Israel experience in July

I learned not only about other ways of practicing Judaism, but also how to lead, how to make lasting connections, and most importantly, how to ask for help. We are always told that we will be the leaders of tomorrow’s world. Diller taught me how to be a leader in today’s world.

Being a Diller Teen Fellow gave me Jewish friends for life, equipped me with leadership skills for today’s and tomorrow’s society, and forced me to reflect on what my Judaism means to me. Through my personal development in Diller’s pluralistic programming, I feel confident in my Jewish identity and how I want to lead my life as a Jewish adult.
